Cheesy Taco Sticks
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 tube Pillsbury Pizza Dough
5 colby jack and cheddar cheese sticks, halved
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Lightly coat a large baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until fully browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat and return the skillet to the stove.
Mix in the taco seasoning packet (without adding water) and stir until the beef is fully coated. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Roll out the pizza dough on a flat surface and cut it in half lengthwise. Then, make four additional cuts vertically, creating a total of 10 small rectangles.
Place about a tablespoon or more of the taco meat in the center of each rectangle. Top with a halved cheese stick.
Carefully roll up the pizza dough around the filling, ensuring all seams are pinched closed to prevent leakage.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush this mixture over the tops of the taco sticks.
Arrange the taco sticks on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Serve hot with your favorite taco toppings or dipping sauces.
