Reese’s Peanut Butter Balls

Reese’s Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups crushed Reese’s Pieces
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or shortening
    Directions:
  1. In a large bowl, beat the peanut butter, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until a firm dough forms.
  3. Stir in the crushed Reese’s Pieces until evenly distributed.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 20-30 minutes until firm.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil (or shortening) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Using a toothpick or fork, dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the parchment paper.
  7. Sprinkle a few crushed Reese’s Pieces on top of each ball for decoration, if desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.
  9. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy!
